Performing Arts

Maribel Martínez is a Queer Chicanx  of P’urhépecha heritage. She is a brainiac, storyteller, guerrera that dreams of shapeshifting. By day, she works in public policy. After hours, she lets the wild rumpus start through her imagination as she writes poetry, short stories, Teatro scenes, and performance pieces. As a community artist, she sees her role in moving forward counternarratives and addressing social issues.
