Born and raised in San Jose, California, Jorge “J. Duh” Camacho was fascinated by art from an early age. Reared on healthy doses of skateboarding and graffiti, Camacho could be found drawing or doodling through most of his adolescence. After graduating high school, he threw himself into art full-time. He has curated numerous art shows, including “The Letter Show”, “Locals Only”, “Still Here” and the monthly “Locals Only” artshow at Uproar Brewery in the last year alone. When he’s not pumping out fresh work daily at his booth in Local Color, Camacho can be found painting murals and other public artwork in and around the South Bay with over a dozen under his belt to date. Along with canvas work, Camacho puts his art on practically anything, from t-shirts to old signs, which he sells through Word is Bond Clothing. As for the future, Camacho has a simple hope–keep making art and decorating cities.
