Virtual Artist Talk: Beyond the Diaspora

Join us for an artist talk with the skilled artists behind our latest exhibition, Beyond the Diaspora. This exhibition features the work of Afro-Latinx artists and pays tribute to their roots. It showcases the artwork we actively consume without realizing its connection to African culture. Beyond the Diaspora will look at both visual and performance art and its connection to the African diaspora in Latinx culture. Featuring work from artists: Diamela, Patricia Encarnacion, Vanessa Wallace Gonzales, Thomas Jones, DJ Leydis, Anna Lisa, Breena Nuñez, and Robert Trujillo.
