GHOSTLY LABOR

About

Ghostly Labor, by Vanessa Sanchez and La Mezcla delves into the rich history of labor in the US-Mexico borderlands, combining the art forms of Tap Dance, Mexican Zapateado, Son Jarocho and Afro-Caribbean movement. Through a captivating fusion of polyrhythmic movement and an original score, the production examines the legacy of systemic labor exploitation and celebrates the resilience and unity found in collective resistance.
