Anna Lisa Escobedo, She/Her/Ella/Ellas. She is a visual artist, muralist, cultural worker, networker, and event & program producer. At YBCA, she helps design and implements artists’ supportive programs, most recently, leading the pilot on the San Francisco Creative Corps. The majority of her work maintains and fosters deep-rooted relationships with the San Francisco and Bay Area communities and the artist and culture ecosystem. Anna Lisa has worked on numerous projects, such as engaging and producing programs in San Francisco. The latest mural was collaborating to help depict community injustices on Black and Brown lives on the mural “Alto Al Fuego de La Mision” for HOMEY’s organization in the Mission District. Including helping co-found the Calle 24 Latino Cultural District. Her work is centered on advocating and uplifting artists, continuously making art accessible to everyone, along with creating stories that acknowledge the history of BIPOC histories in intangible spaces.
