MACLA is an inclusive contemporary arts space grounded in the Chicano/Latino experience that incubates new visual, literary and performance art in order to engage people in civic dialogue and community transformation.
MACLAarte.org strives to make our Sites’ content accessible and user-friendly. Consistent with this goal, we continually work to meet online usability and design standards recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in its Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level A (WCAG 2.1 A) and/or other standards to the extent required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A These accessibility guidelines cover a wide range of recommendations for making Site content more accessible. Following these guidelines will make Site content accessible to a wider range of people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, learning disabilities, cognitive limitations, limited movement, speech disabilities, photosensitivity and combinations of these.
