Youth Education—Family Art Day 

Family Art Day -  Saturday, April 30, 2016
from 12:00 - 3:00 pm / FREE

A family day of art, music and performance at Parque de los Pobladores (in front of MACLA). Join us for hands-on artmaking activities, interactive music and dance performances, gallery tours and food trucks.

As part of Bay Area Dance Week, MACLA is offering free half hour dance classes for youth:

Afro-Colombian with Maestra Adriana from Colombian Soul
Mexican Folklorico with Maestro Cesar from Grupo Folklorico Los Laureles
Bolivian dance with Maestro Isidro from Bolivia Corazon de America 
First come, first served.

Presenting multi-cultural music and dance performances from Cascada de Flores, Grupo Folklorico Los Laureles, the San Jose Jazz High School Select Band (as part ofInternational Jazz Day); and interactive activities with visual artists Melina Ramirez and Elizabeth Gomez.
